How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2010 Chevrolet Corvette?

Begin Crankshaft Position Sensor replacement by first removing the negative Battery Cable. Install jack stands under the vehicle to support it from the portion opposite the work area before engaging any removal process while it stays on the hoist system. First disconnect the Starter and remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector while cleaning its surroundings to stop debris from entering the engine. To install the ckp sensor, remove both its retaining bolt and sensor. Follow this installation procedure by putting back the ckp sensor then placing the retaining bolt before applying torque to 25 nm (18 lb ft). Reinstall the Starter after reconnecting the ckp sensor electrical connector and lowering the vehicle below the hoist and then reconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Complete the ckp system variation learn procedure following transmitter programming.
