Begin the process by removing both Muffler hanger nuts then the attached hanger components. It may be needed to first remove the push-on retainer along with any hanger reinforcement parts. Before installation replace hanger reinforcement first which can be followed by push-on retainer if needed. Fastener maintenance demands care to stop vehicle harm. Follow by placing the Muffler hanger into position and fasten the nuts before tightening them to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Reinstall the Muffler through the correct installation steps that apply to either the left or right position.
