Secure two wheel nuts across opposed wheel studs by performing a firm hand torque to keep the rotor in place on the hub. First detach the brake caliper from its caliper bracket by removing the guide pin bolts and secure the caliper with heavy mechanics wire or its equivalent. Start by removing the inboard Brake Pad while noting the Brake Pad wear sensor position and continuing by removing the outboard Brake Pad then the disc Brake Pad retainers . Once you detach the caliper bracket bolts you should remove the caliper bracket. Examine all the components and hardware which support the disc brake system. Installation requires attaching the Brake Caliper Bracket while tightening Brake Caliper Bracket bolts to 115 nm (85 lb ft) for jm4 or 130 nm (96 lb ft) for jl9. Spread a slith a silicone brake lubricant specifically designed for high temperature use over the caliper bracket's mating surfaces before installing the disc Brake Pad retainers. Place wear sensor-equipped brake pads at the wheel's forwards rotation position using their leading edges to face the rotor or position them at the pad's top when placed in a vehicle configuration. Perform installation of both the inboard Brake Pad and the outboard Brake Pad. Securely place the brake caliper on the caliper bracket after removing support then tighten the guide pin bolts to 35 nm (26lb ft).
