  A: A replacement of the Fuel Tank filler pipe requires Fuel Tank drainage first. Remove both fuel fill pipe to fill pipe housing bolts and the fuel fill pocket. Mount the vehicle before removing both fasteners that secure the fuel fill pipe to its housing. Before you remove the fill pipe from the vehicle and Fuel Tank both the Fuel Tank vent quick connect fittings must be disconnected (1, 3) while you loosen the Fuel Tank clamp with a clamp tool (1). You should start by mounting the fuel fill pipe to the vehicle before installing the fuel fill pipe hose to the Fuel Tank. Begin by tightening the fuel fill pipe hose clamp at the Fuel Tank to 4.5 nm (40 lb in) and then attaching the Fuel Tank vent pipe quick connect fittings (1, 3). Place the fuel fill pipe lower bolt before securing it with a torque of 10 nm (89 lb in), then proceed to lower the vehicle. Install the fuel fill pocket followed by the fuel fill pipe to fill pipe housing bolts by tightening them to 1.5 nm (13 lb in). Before use refill the Fuel Tank then place the fuel fill cap.
