A: In order to replace the engine front cover, the following components needs to be removed: drive belt tensioner, crankshaft balancer, air cleaner assembly and windshield washer solvent reservoir. Install the engine support fixture, and then, remove the Engine Mount-to-bracket bolts, engine mount-to-side rail nuts, as well as the Engine Mount itself. Next, remove take out the Engine Mount bracket to engine and Engine Mount bracket bolts. After removing the engine front cover to water pump bolt, lift and support the vehicle, remove the engine front cover bolts and remove the cover itself, throw away old gasket. To install, fit a new engine front cover gasket over the dowel pins and fit the engine front cover using a torque of 25 nm (18 Ibf). Lower the vehicle and fit the engine front cover to water pump bolt, also tighten to 25nm (18lb) ft). Position the Engine Mount bracket to the engine, and insert the long bolts into the forward and lower rear holes, and short bolt into the upper rear hole, then tighten the bolts up in the order of upper rear, lower rear, then forward to 50 nm (37 lb ft). Reapply the Engine Mount to the engine compartment, the Engine Mount to side rail nuts and fasten at 100 nm (74 lb ft), afterward the Engine Mount to bracket bolts, fasten to 50 nm (37 lb ft), sequence is middle, rear, front engine mounts. Remove the engine support fixture subsequently fuel tank top, reinstall the windshield washer solvent reservoir, the air cleaner assembly, the crankshaft balancer, and the drive belt tethering eventually.
