2010 Chevrolet Impala Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the rear suspension sway bar link on 2010 Chevrolet Impala?
A: Starting the replacement of the Sway Bar Link requires that you lift up and support the vehicle. Unfasten both ends of the Sway Bar Link by removing the Sway Bar Link nut then remove the nut from the Sway Bar Link and strut. Extraction of the Sway Bar Link from the vehicle must occur. After raising and supporting the vehicle you need to place the Sway Bar Link back into position and link it to the sway bar. Secure the lower Sway Bar Link nut on the Sway Bar Link by attaching it to the sway bar before torquing it to 50 nm (37 lb ft). After installing the Sway Bar Link to the strut utilize an upper Sway Bar Link nut to fasten the assembly while tightening it to 52 nm (38 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle.
