To change the hood latch, lift and hold the hood up, and label the points of the latch and the fasteners. Take off the bolts and release cable. Reconnect the cable, install the latch and attach it with bolts. Adjust the latch to fit and make sure the hood is aligned with the fenders and close the bolts and hood before closing.
