How to replace the idler arm on 2010 GMC Savana 1500?

In order to replace the idler arm, first lift and support the vehicle. Delete the idler arm to relay rod retaining nut and scrap it. For removing the idler arm from the relay rod, use the J 43631 (Ball Joint Remover); then remove the idler arm to frame mounting bolts and take the idler arm out of the vehicle. For installation, align the idler arm to the frame, with caution on fastener guidelines. Attach the idler arm to frame mounting bolts and torque them to 150 Nm (111 lb ft). Join the idler arm to the relay rod and then fit a new idler arm to relay rod retaining nut and tighten it to 63 Nm (47 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle and have it aligned if out of alignment.
