Raise and support the vehicle to get rid of the Pitman Arm. Take off the power steering and put it in a vise. Removal of the pitman arm with the help of a puller. Install a new washer and nut by reattaching the pitman arm, and ensuring that the marks match. Re-fit the power steering gear, drop the vehicle and adjust alignment.
