How to service the Engine Control Module (ECM) on 2010 GMC Yukon?

To service the engine control module (ECM) either replace or program the EEP-ROM. Make sure the replacement ECM is correct to install. Turn off the ignition when doing connectors to avoid damage. Clean debris from connectors, inspect gaskets. Write a record engine oil life before removal and disconnect the battery cable. Remove and install the ECM and program it, if new.
