To fix the left side intake Camshaft position actuator for bank 2 you must first take apart the left exhaust Camshaft actuator. Disconnect the intake Camshaft position actuator bolt and then take out the left intake Camshaft position actuator. During installation verify the actuator as the proper one through its in mark on the actuator body which indicates intake application. Putting the actuator in the proper position prevents engine performance problems and code errors. The slots in the reluctor wheel of the right intake actuator need special attention because they differ from the slot placement on the left actuator. Position the reluctor wheel edge directly above the highest point of the sprocket tooth on the left. Line up the circle mark on the outside of the Camshaft position actuator with the timing chain link indicator on the left engine side. During time alignment of the actuator bolt adjust your hex-judging wrench onto the hex slot on the Camshaft body. Set the intake Camshaft position actuator onto the Camshaft bolt but tighten it loose using an open-end wrench on the Camshaft hex to stop Camshaft rotation. Secure the final bolt for the Camshaft position actuator then put back the exhaust Camshaft actuator on the left side.
