The Ignition Control Module is the second component that needs to be replaced. To do so, one has to first disconnect all the electrical connectors at the Ignition Control Module, record the position of the spark plugs for reinstallation purposes and then disconnect them from the ignition coils. After that, unscrew the screws holding the coil assemblies to the Ignition Control Module, and pull off the coils from the module, then take out the module from bracket. For installation, locate the Ignition Control Module back on the bracket and coil installation on to the module must be ensured while adhering to the fastener notice under service precauteness. Tighten the screws up to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Lastly, reconnect the Spark Plug Wires as pointed out during removal and plug the electrical connectors to the Ignition Control Module.
