The needed tools for this task are a Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794), a valve spring compressor (J 38606), and a valve guide seal installer (J 42863). Start your work by taking out both
Rocker Arm parts plus spark plugs. Turn the engine until the piston in the servicing cylinder reaches top dead center position to keep the valve from entering the chamber. The Spark Plug port adapter j 22794 fits into the cylinder head while compressed air from compressed air source seals the valves. Put the valve spring compressor (J 38606) onto the valve spring to compress it before taking out the valve keys, valve cap, and valve spring. Finger-pressure on the bottom edge of the seal releases the valve guide seal. You can install the oil seal onto the valve stem by placing it on top of the valve guide. Use your hand pressure with valve guide seal installer (J 42863) to set it properly without damaging the parts. Push the valve guide seal fully onto the guide using valve guide seal installer (J 42863) then install the valve spring and valve cap with valve spring compressor (J 38606) and set the valve keys. Follow this process for every valve before removing pressure and taking out the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794). Position the new Spark Plug then put together the valve rocker parts.
