Before working on the windshield Washer Reservoir you need to lift the hood and drain fluid from the Washer Reservoir. Take out the air snorkel screw from its position and relocate the snorkel to make room. Drain and remove the washer filler neck from the Washer Reservoir. First disconnect the Washer Pump hose from the Washer Pump unit. Then detach both the Washer Pump connector and level sensor connector power plugs. Take out the Washer Reservoir from the vehicle by removing its screws. When replacing the Washer Reservoir put the Washer Pump and the Washer Reservoir level sensor over. Secure the new washer detergent container two times against the mounting points and tighten it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Join the Washer Pump and level sensor electrical connectors before you attach the Washer Pump hose to the pump and put back the washer filler cap. Attach the air snorkel in its proper position and tighten the screw to 2 n.m (18 lb in). After placing the Washer Reservoir securely on the mounting tab, pour washer solvent into the container then lock the hood.
