Begin by placing the window fully upward before removing the door trim panel to replace front outside Door Handle. To gain access to the outside Door Handle one must pull the rear part of the water deflector from the door panel. Before proceeding start by disconnecting the theft shield retainer and screws from the Door Handle when the vehicle has such equipment installed. Completely separate the lock rod from both door systems by using the retainer opening located at the door latch to disconnect it. Take out the Door Handle with attached handle rod and lock rod by removing its mounting nuts first. You should begin the installation by attaching both handle rod and lock cylinder rod to the outside Door Handle before placing the Door Handle with rods attached into the cutout and rotating it into position.
