You need to adjust the marks on the crankshaft using the j 39946 crankshaft rotation socket. First remove the secondary camshaft drive chains from the vehicle then proceed to take out the primary drive chain tensioner. You should disconnect the camshaft intermediate sprocket retaining bolt before extracting the primary camshaft drive chain , crankshaft sprocket and camshaft intermediate sprocket as one piece. The installation process requires you to position the timing marks of camshaft intermediate and crankshaft sprockets perpendicular to each other. Start with installing the primary camshaft drive chain onto its sprockets while making sure that the number i piston rests at top dead center (TDC) with the 1 o'clock crankshaft keyway alignment.
