You must remove first both Heater Core retaining straps and the Heater Core assembly, Heater Core case seals. The installation process requires placement of the new Heater Core then installation of the Heater Core retaining straps along with new Heater Core case seals. Put the retaining screws of the Heater Core into place before securing them with 1.4 n.m (13 lb in) torque. Fasten the Heater Core cover screws while tightening them to 1.4 n.m (13 lb in). The auxiliary Blower Motor assembly can be restored before connecting the heater hoses to the Heater Core through the use of the j 37097-a heater hose clamp tool. Finally, fill the cooling system.
