  Before starting this task you need to check the brake fluid level in themaster cylinder reservoir first. Apply a big c-clamp to push the caliper piston into its housing so you can move the caliper past the rotor before taking off the clamp. Secure the brake caliper with strong mechanic's wire while you lift the caliper without disconnecting the hydraulic hose. Push the caliper piston completely in using a large c-clamp held against it by an old Brake Pad or wood block then take away both tools from caliper. Look at the Brake Pad retainers by taking off both brake pads from their positions in the caliper bracket. Look at and replace damaged suspension boots for caliper bolts and piston boots along with caliper pin bolts. Apply niglube(R)(R) grease to the front brake caliper pin bolts before placing both brake pads and retainer inside the caliper bracket. Place the caliper over the pads and fasten the bottomork brake caliper pin with 85 nm (63 ft. Lbs.) torque. Place the tire and wheel back in place while lowering the vehicle. With turned-off engine press Brake Pedal 2/3 of its travel and release it slowly. Operate the Brake Pedal gradually until it becomes firm which puts the caliper pistons and brake pads into their correct position. At the end fill the reservoir with brake fluid to its proper mark then run final adjustments on both pads and rotors.

  To install new rear brake pads check the fluid level in the brake master cylinder reservoir. Drain fluids until the mark reaches the middle point between limits when the gauge shows fluid above that mark. Lift the vehicle while placing supports under it and take off the wheel. Place the Brake Caliper Piston into brake caliper with a big c-clamp and keep the piston movement at less than 1 mm to prevent brake parts damage. Unfasten the lower Control Arm bolt of the park brake guide and the caliper bolt of the park brake bracket to extract the bottom brake caliper pin bolt. Secure the brake caliper with wire rope to shield the brake hose then lift and fasten the caliper body horizontally. Check the condition of Brake Pad retainer pieces in the Brake Caliper Bracket before removing inboard and outboard brake pads. During reinstallation check suspension boots on Brake Caliper Bolt mountings for damage and replace them. Also inspect brake caliper pin bolts for signs of wear or rust and switch them if required. Insert the spanner type wrench into the cutouts of the piston to push it back into the brake bore while lining it up with the bracket pins. Apply silicone lube to all rear brake caliper components and parts. Add the primary and secondary brake pads to the bracket before fitting the Brake Pad retainers. Lower the brake caliper onto the pads and thread in the bottom caliper pin bolt until it reaches 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.) torque. Attach the park brake cable bracket to the caliper before securing the bolt at 43 nm while fitting the park brake cable guide bolt to the lower Control Arm with 24 nm torque. Place the wheel and tire back on followed by lowering the vehicle. Apply the Brake Pedal only 2/3rd of its travel while keeping the engine off before releasing it slowly. After 15 seconds wait to repeat this sequence until you feel a solid Brake Pedal which positions the brake pads and pistons correctly. At the end replace brake fluid to the correct amount before using drum brake pads and rotors to wipe off surface residues and metallic deposits.
