Use the 3M(TM) Scotch Brite molding adhesive remover disk (3M(TM) P/N 07502) to eliminate glue from body panels while VMP naphtha diluted with 50% water serves to eliminate glue off plastic parts. Mark the installation position on the area by placing tape 23 mm from the bottom and 45 mm from the side of the rear compartment lid. Clean and dry the installation space before beginning. Use the Heat Gun at its lowest setting up to 105°F (80°F) to warm the mounting area to 80-105°F (80-105°F). Keep the emblem/nameplate at 85-90°F-86°F (85-90°F). Uncover the adhesive backing and take off the protective liner to place the emblem/nameplate at the marked position. Press it onto the surface evenly.
