After completing the removal sequence you must remove the bolts that secure the ignition assembly before extracting the component. The next step involves removing both Ignition Control Module retaining screws while extracting the Ignition Control Module. Begin with Ignition Control Module installation before securing all retaining screws at 0.8 n.m (7 lb in torque). Install the ignition assembly grounding spring and insulator first then put in the ignition assembly while linking the Spark Plug boots to their respective spark plugs. Apply 9 n.m (80 lb in) of torque to the ignition assembly retaining bolts through the installation torque sequence. After reconnecting the ignition assembly electrical connector install the engine sight shield while tightening the retaining bolts to 8 n.m (70 lb in). The last installation step involves installing the engine oil level indicator.
