How to replace the canister purge valves on Cadillac Seville?

As a first step replace the EVAP canister purge valves by taking out the fuel injector sight shield followed by disconnecting both the EVAP canister purge valves electrical connector along with the EVAP purge pipe from the valve location. Open the throttle partially while using a wrench to remove the retaining bolt that secures the EVAP canister purge valves before extracting them. The installation process starts by inserting a new O-ring onto the EVAP purge valves until the throttle is again partially open for positioning the EVAP canister purge valves. After fitting the retaining bolt into position you must torque it to 12 N.m (106 lb in). Attach the EVAP purge pipe to the EVAP canister purge valves after the throttle reach a full close position while reattaching the electrical connector. You should conclude by installing the fuel injector sight shield.
