Begin the Fuel Injector replacement by taking off the Fuel Rail before pressing the Fuel Rail locking tab toward the center to free the Fuel Injector for removal. Afterwards remove the upper o-ring and lower o-ring from the injector and discard its o-ring seals. Install the new o-rings by placing the blue-colored one at the top position while positioning the black-colored one at the bottom since they share the same dimensions but use contrasting materials. Always obtain the right part number for replacement fuel injectors during ordering while also distributing new o-rings at every service to block vacuum leaks that impact vehicle driveability. Apply clean engine oil to both new o-rings before installation onto the Fuel Injector so the injector can be fastened back onto the rail followed by reinstalling of the Fuel Rail.
