How to replace the air conditioning evaporator core on Cadillac SRX?

The first thing to do when changing an air conditioning Evaporator core is taking out the thermal expansion valve. The first step involves removing the hvac module case screws alongside hvac module retainer clips. First remove the rh temperature actuator wiring harness from the hvac module before placing it aside while performing the same task with the Evaporator core temperature sensor connector. After dividing the hvac module users should disconnect the Evaporator core and extract the thermistor from its position within the core structure. Before fitting the new Evaporator core one must add refrigerant oil to its core before installing new core seals and attaching a thermistor. Place the Evaporator core inside the vehicle before joining the sections of the hvac module case. Connect the Evaporator core temperature sensor connector to the right temperature actuator and then join the hvac module wiring harness. Fasten the retainer clips of the hvac module into place before securing the hvac module case screws at 1 n.m tension (9 lb in torque). Thermal expansion valve assembly comes as the last step of installation.
