How to replace the right muffler on Cadillac XLR?

In order to do a right Muffler change, first lift and hold secure the vehicle. Loosen the right side exhaust Muffler clamp and slide the Muffler out from the hanger to remove it. For installation, indicate where the Muffler band clamp should be located onto the intermediate Exhaust Pipe, and then grind the weld off to clear off the old clamp. Put on a new Muffler band clamp on the intermediate Exhaust Pipe and place the right Muffler in its slot. Slide in the Muffler into the hanger, align the new Muffler band clamp that lies on the intermediate Exhaust Pipe referring to the mark that has been made earlier, so that the bolt for holding the clamp is not placed under the Exhaust Pipe. Finally, draw the, but right side exhaust Muffler clamp to 44 nm (32 ft lbs) and drop the vehicle.
