You should start by detaching the tie rod bracket retaining bolts which secure the Steering Knuckle then loosen the tie rod jam nut. The universal steering linkage puller (J 24319-B) enables detachment of the outer Tie Rod End from the Steering Knuckle after removing the nut that retains them together. Next detach the Tie Rod End outer section from the inner rod.
