How to Replace the Motor and Transmission Mount on a 4L80-E on Chevrolet Avalanche 2500?

Begin replacement of the 4l80-e transmission mount by properly raising the vehicle then installing a transmission jack to support the transmission. Start by loosening the two nuts which connect the transmission mount to the transmission support before lifting the transmission from its required position. After removing the bolts operate the jack to lift the transmission until the transmission mount clears out of the vehicle. For installation, position the transmission mount in place and install the bolts that secure it to the transmission (2WD) or transfer case adapter (4WD), tightening the bolts to 47 nm (35 ft. Lbs.) for 4wd vehicles and 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) for 2wd vehicles. Install the two nuts by screwing them to the transmission support before tightening them to 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Lower the vehicle after removing the transmission jack.
