  • Q: How to replace the MAP Sensor on Chevrolet Aveo?
    A: Starting with disconnecting the Battery Cable users can replace the manifold absolute pressure sensor. Start by disconnecting the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor's electrical connector followed by cutting the vacuum hose. First disconnect the MAP Sensor bolt to remove the manifold absolute pressure sensor. Once installed position the MAP Sensor on the bolt while tightening it up to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Complete the replacement of the manifold absolute pressure sensor by reattaching the vacuum hose then connecting the MAP Sensor electrical connector and finally reinstalling the negative Battery Cable.
