How to replace the overslam bumper on the rear compartment lid on Chevrolet Classic?

To change the overslam bumper on the rear compartment lid you first need to open the rear compartment. Twist the bumper at the rear compartment's outside area counterclockwise to remove it and then detach the side bumper by turning it counterclockwise also. Start by fastening the rear compartment lid side bumper clockwise to its frame then attach the rear compartment lid outer bumper by rotating it clockwise. Turn the bumpers of the rear compartment lid alternatively clockwise and counterclockwise until it seats perfectly against the quarter panel before closing the compartment.
