How to replace the front door hinge on Chevrolet Classic?

The first step includes opening the front door while you cut the attachments of both front door rubber conduit and electrical connector from the front door pillar. Take the front door off the vehicle by first removing the check link bolt from the front door and intermediate bolts while receiving help from another person. The front door hinge bolts and hinge pillar bolts must be cleaned thoroughly to allow marking the locations with grease pencil before the front door hinge can be detached by removing these bolts. Place the new front door hinge at correct positions marked on the hinge pillar and tighten all hinge pillar bolts to 28 N.m (21 lb ft). Secure the front door hinge by aligning it with its marks before installing its bolts while applying 28 N.m (21 lb ft) torque setting. Assisted by another person you should reposition the door onto the vehicle before installing the front door hinge intermediate bolt and tightening it to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). Attach and tighten the front door check link bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in). After that, reconnect the front door electrical connector and rubber conduit at the front door pillar before setting the door shut.
