  A: A process to change the outside handle and lock cylinder begins with raising the window to maximum height before removing the front door trim panel and front door water deflector. Start the replacement of the outside handle rod by detaching it from the Door Lock Actuator while you also separate the Door Lock Cylinder rod from the front Door Lock Cylinder.
