How to replace the rear liftgate hinge on Chevrolet Classic?

You need to start by taking off the rear compartment lid before the torque rods and rear window panel trim. After taking out the sound insulator you can access the hinge bolts on the hinge and the rear compartment lid hinge bolts on the vehicle. Place the rear compartment lid hinge on the vehicle first and add the rear compartment lid hinge bolts to the hinge. Tighten them to 11 N.m (97 lb in). Secure the different components in their proper order by first putting back the sound insulators, rear window trim, torque rods, and lastly the rear compartment lid.
