How to replace the front door striker on Chevrolet Classic?

You must initial the location of the front Door Striker using a grease pencil after opening the door. First remove body-mounted door lock striker bolts before taking out the door lock striker and its spacers. To install the components keep door latch operation in mind since proper alignment is essential for proper functioning and avoid using the striker to adjust door position or it may harm the door components. The door lock striker spacers and the door lock striker need to be positioned based on the alignment marks made on the body. Tighten the door lock striker bolts by 25 n.m (18 lb ft) after proper installation then close the door.
