Start by disassembling the Fuel Tank while disconnecting the wiring harness both from the Fuel Level Sensor and the Fuel Tank pressure (FTP) sensor. The Fuel Level Sensor lock nut wrench (J 39765) allows users to depress the retaining ring while rotating it. Pay attention because the modular Fuel Level Sensor assembly will rise up and position the reservoir bucket at a slight angle when removing it while disposing of reservoir fuel into an approved container.
