    You must drain the washer solvent from the tank before replacing the windshield washer pump. Remove the front fender liner. Disconnect the washer pump electronics and remove its hose connection. Press the flat-bladed tool into the washer pump to detach it first from washer solvent container. Next remove the seal ring of washer solvent container with same tool. Place the new seal into the washer solvent container and fully press it down before inserting the new washer pump into the container in the same way. Connect the washer pump electric wires and pipe before reinstalling the front fender panel. Put washer solvent into the washer solvent tank at the end of the process.
