How to service and repair the Air Inject Check Valve for Bank 2 on Chevrolet Corvette?

Start servicing and repairing bank 2 air injection check valve by first taking off the Intake Manifold when the engine has sufficiently cooled. Removing the service starts by detaching clamps and air hoses from right pipe before unscrewing the Cylinder Head bolt to eliminate the right air pipe from the manifold. Check valve testing requires application of air pumps to the nipple side of the check valve where pressure reaches 10 inches hg and performance evaluation determines replacement if the vacuum reaches zero in under 5 seconds. The check valve installation requires mating it with the air pipe followed by torquing it to 23 n.m (17 lb ft). Connect and tighten the right air pipe to the Exhaust Manifold at 20 n.m (15 lb ft). After that, install the Cylinder Head air pipe bolt and clamp the hose to the check valve. After reinstalling the Intake Manifold technicians must check the air system operation and complete the Battery Cable reconnection steps and idle learn process with transmitter programming.
