2004 Chevrolet Corvette Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Air Inject Check Valve on 2004 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: The first step to replace the secondary air injection (AIR) shut-off valve is to remove the fascia front close out panel. The vacuum hose needs to be disconnected from the secondary air injection (AIR) shut off valve while you uninstall the clamps securing the air shut off valve hoses. After several steps of disconnecting the Air Hose and outlet port it is time to take out the air shut off valve. The first step of installation involves mounting the air pump shut off valve after which workers must link the Air Hose to the outlet port of the air shut off valve. Secure the hoses by using clamps then reinstall the vacuum hose to the air shut off valve. Reinstall the fascia front close out panel as the final step.
