How to replace the left muffler on 2004 Chevrolet Corvette?

Starting the left muffler replacement process requires first removing the rear stabilizer shaft bracket bolts and nuts before removing the rear stabilizer shaft brackets and insulators to position the stabilizer shaft downwards. Start by removing the bolts from the left exhaust muffler and extractor gasket before pulling out the muffler blade from the hanger to remove the left muffler. Start your installation process by placing the left muffler in position then inserting the muffler blade into the hanger. Install a NEW exhaust muffler gasket afterwards. Tighten the left side exhaust muffler bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) torque setting. Position the rear stabilizer shaft with an upward orientation followed by installing rear stabilizer shaft insulators and brackets before installing rear stabilizer shaft bracket bolts and nuts and tightening bolts to 65 Nm (49 ft. lbs.) while nuts reach 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.). Tighten the nuts to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) along with the bolts that needed to be tightened to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
