After accessing the oil level indicator from its tube proceed to take out the oil level indicator tube bolt which will allow you to remove the tube from the lower point. Examine the o-ring seal to check if it has any damage or cuts; this seal might be usable if it remains intact. To proceed with the oil fill tube work you should first take off the o-ring seal from the tube before uninstalling the lower oil fill tube bolt from the engine block. To install the o-ring seal you must first apply engine oil and put it on the lower oil level indicator tube after which the tube needs placement behind the Exhaust Manifold. Determine a secure position for the vehicle while you install the lower oil level indicator tube inside the block at the correct height before lowering the vehicle.
