At first open the hood while supporting it and take out the upper fender support along with the bolt that attaches to the washer solvent container. After raising the washer solvent container you can disconnect the washer pump electrical connector and hose without washer fluid leakage. Empty the washer solvent from its container into a designated storage container before you detach both the washer pump and washer container cap. Place the new washer pump into the washer solvent container then seal it with its cap. Secure the electrical plug and washer pipe to the new pump unit. Position the washer solvent container into its chassis mounting holes and bolt it down tightly at 10 N.m (89 lb in). Replace the upper fender support then fill the washer solvent bottle before putting on the hood.
