How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on Chevrolet Express 1500?

The engine cover needs removal before installing a new engine oil pressure sender or switch. Follow these steps to disable the oil pressure sender electrical connector: Use the J41712 Oil Pressure Sender Socket to remove the oil pressure sender. Before sender installation use the Oil Pressure Sender Socket to tighten the threaded new oil pressure sender with GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent moisture barrier. Reinstall both the engine cover while returning the oil pressure sender electrical connector to its correct position.
