How to replace the PCV Valve on Chevrolet Express 2500?

The first step in replacing the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve is disconnecting both the hose assembly from the Intake Manifold and the hose from the valve rocker arm cover. You should turn and extract the PCV Valve cover from the upper Intake Manifold before discarding its old o-ring seal. The installation requires a fresh new o-ring on the PCV Valve cover that should receive clean engine oil lubrication before the upper Intake Manifold receives the cover and proper locking is achieved. The last step requires re-routing the PCV Valve Hose assembly between the Intake Manifold and the valve rocker arm cover.
