Install the steering column anti-rotation pin of type j 42640 first before starting your procedure. This step requires the wheels in a straight position. The pin size requirement falls between 1.0 and 2.0 mm. Remove the intermediate Steering Shaft along with all necessary electrical connectors from the steering column. Pull the Steering Angle Sensor out from its position. When assembling the new sensor slide it into position and remove the locating pin before reconnecting electrical connectors and the intermediate Steering Shaft to the steering column.
