How to replace the Rack and Pinion steering gear on Chevrolet Malibu?

A vehicle lift with tire and wheel removal must occur before starting the Rack And Pinion replacement work. Begin by disconnecting the links of the stabilizer shaft to the control arms then removing tie rod ends from the Steering Knuckle.
