How to replace the Motor and Transmission Mount on Chevrolet S10?

To change the mount of the transmission, firstly, lift the car and hold it properly. Use a transmission jack to hold up the transmission, then remove the nut or nuts holding the transmission mount to the transmission hole. Raise the transmission to take off the load from the mount, and then remove the bolts holding the mount to the transmission (2WD) or transfer case adapter (4WD). Lift the transmission a little for the transmission mounting disconnected and removed off the vehicle. For installation place the new transmission mount and install, the bolts that hold them into place with the transmission for 2wd and transfer case adapter for 4wd vehicles tightening bolts to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs) for 2wd vehicles and, 47 nm 35 ft.-lbs 4wd vehicles. Lower the transmission then the nut nut securing the transmission mount to the transmission support and tighten the nuts to the 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Finally, take out the transmission jack and lower down the vehicle.
