To replace a lower Control Arm with a coil spring, raise and support the car. Take out the tire and front wheel, and in the case of vehicles with Rack And Pinion steering, the front coil spring. Ball Joint retaining nut and unfasten the lower Ball Joint stud from the
Steering Knuckle utiliseing the j 43631 Ball Joint remover (J 43631) and the j 45851 Ball Joint separator protector adapters (J 45851). After taking off the lower Control Arm, fix the new lower Control Arm and attach the Ball Joint stud to the Steering Knuckle. Install the lower Ball Joint retaining nut and tighten it to 100 nm (74 ft. Lbs.) as well. Move to install the 15-series bolts into lower Control Arm, followed by the lower Control Arm nuts and 15-series washers, and tighten nuts to 175 nm (129 ft. Lbs.). At last, replace the front stabilizer shaft link, shock absorber, tire, and wheel, take the safety stands, drop the vehicle, and also check the wheel alignment.
