The replacement process for wiper arms begins by marking the initial position of the
Wiper Blade on the windshield with a marker while using tape for protection and continuing by removing the washer hose. Use a wrench to remove the nut which protects the Wiper Arm before continuing with installation. Use a battery terminal puller to separate the Wiper Arm from the
Drive Shaft before using a wire brush to clean the Drive Shaft knurls. Put the Wiper Arm into place by aligning the Wiper Blade with the windshield mark and put the Wiper Arm onto the Drive Shaft. Fasten the Drive Shaft's nut then apply 30 n.m of torque to reach 22 lb ft. To complete this process you must first install the cover on the nut then reconnect the washer hose before cleaning the locating mark or masking tape residue from the windshield. Before concluding check for correct Wiper Blade function.
