To get the work moving on replacing the Throttle Body assembly first, with all the electronic throttle control components to be handled with care, do not damage anything and leave out any small hand tools to hold the throttle plate open; doing so may damage the inner wedge. Start by half-draining the cooling system for removing the hose at the Throttle Body. After that remove the air cleaner outlet duct and the engine sight shield and disconnect throttle actuator motor electrical connector. Reposition the coolant air bleed hose clamp and unbolt the coolant air bleed hose from the Throttle Body. Then, take out the Throttle Body nuts and the Throttle Body itself and throw away the old Throttle Body Gasket. For installation, it is necessary to fit a new Throttle Body Gasket and fit Throttle Body protecting the latter nuts tightening to 10 n. M (89 lb. In.). Reattach the coolant air bleed hose and clamp as per position. Check that throttle actuator motor harness and seal is properly connected and not damaged before reconnecting throttle actuator motor electrical connector. Reinstall the engine sight shield and air cleaner outlet ducts and top off the cooling system. Connect a scan tool to check for throttle-opening and throttle-closing range to make sure the accelerator pedal moves freely between closed throttle to wide open throttle (WOT). Make sure the vehicle is not in reduced engine power mode, the in/on switch of the ignition switch is pressed, and the ignition is turned off as you scan the interval as the engine is cranked and inspected for outlined leaks of coolant.
