How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) on Chevrolet Silverado 3500?

Before replacing the Knock Sensor (KS) begin by removing the Intake Manifold followed by gently lifting the rubber covers and removing the Knock Sensor electrical connectors before taking out the knock sensors. Begin Knock Sensor installation by tightening the sensors to 20 n.m (15 lb ft) as specified in fastener notice of service precautions. The installation process starts by connecting Knock Sensor electrical connectors followed by pushing down rubber covers before reinstalling the Intake Manifold.
