How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on Chevrolet Silverado 3500?

The first step before replacing the Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor requires cleaning the sensor vicinity to stop foreign particles from getting inside the engine. First detach the CMP sensor bolt followed by removal of the CMP sensor unit. After placing the CMP sensor in position you must install its bolt using 29 N.m torque or 21 lb ft force.
