In removing the Throttle Body assembly, handle the items of electronic throttle control carefully in avoiding to cause damage; do not use any small hand tools when keeping the throttle plate open, there is a chance of damaging the internal wedge. First, partially drain the cooling system to remove the hose at the Throttle Body. Second, dismantle the air cleaner outlet duct, as well as the engine sight shield. Remove the throttle actuator motor electrical connector; move the coolant air bleed hose clamp; remove the coolant air bleed hose from Throttle Body. Next, unfasten the Throttle Body head nuts and Throttle Body, and then throw the old Throttle Body Gasket away. For installation, there is need to install a new Throttle Body Gasket, and install the Throttle Body with tightening nuts to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Reattach the coolant air bleed hose & its clamp, thn connect throttle actuator motor electrical connector check for the connection and seal of the connector and it is not damaged. Replace the engine sight shield and the air cleaner outlet duct, fill the cooling system, and then remove the engine oil. Use a scan tool to check the throttle-opening range and throttle-closing range to ensure the accelerator pedal functions freely from closed throttle to wide open throttle (WOT). Make sure that the vehicle is not in reduced engine power mode, the ignition is on, but the engine is off before the engine has been started up and inspected for coolant leaks.
